Control Room
The jewel in the crown of Battersea Power Station, a landmark on the London skyline and an important part of the city's identity.
The Grade II* listed Art Deco space features original control panels and machinery from the 1930s, which have been expertly restored. The room was built to manage the distribution of electricity generated by the Power Station (about a fifth of all the power used by London including Buckingham Palace) until the station was decommissioned in 1983.
